Mood and colour boards. Green is green but it's incredible how yellow details are fashionable now. A few years ago yellow was unthinkable and so 70ies. But now, go out and do it, but only in small doses!

I've been looking for a coffee table for so long. And just now, ironically enough, I found an American website (South of Market), selling French coffee tables that I all love. The first one is made out of a 17th century door, the last one is a 19th century door, the second one is a train cart coffee table and the third one is the classical iron industrial cart table.

I'm going to spend my weekend in this chalet. Will let you know more next week on its cosy mountain design.
I'm sure you could not have missed Therese Sennerholt's graphics. My favorite is of course the chocolate one!

I want this so bad! The only detail is that I would have to get it from Sweden to Switzerland. And it's a French cupboard!
I stole this one from another blog, but I just could not resist the photo with the old lady! (photo originally from Sköna Hem)

Very inspiring interiors on this Norwegian blog. Enjoy!

Louise Bourgoise: Part of her Extreme Tension exhibition at Pompidou in January. On one side it said: The Legs Thighs Ankles Toes; On the other side: THE pelvis bones The joints. I just love this drawing... a labyrinth of our inner parts.

What a fantastic idea! Jan Eleni suggests taking your kids artwork and turn them into a giant collage. I was thinking I could give it a go with Giorgio's funky water world... Here featuring his crabs and crocodile...

I took a photo of this interior from an Italian magazine (hence the not so great photo). If I ever get the chance on my dream house, a library wall, a window wall and an art wall would all be on my list. So simple but so effective. Only missing the perfect fauteuil...

This armchair/sofa is genius. It sits two but is only 1.25 m long, so great for compact space. With its high back it can be used in large open spaces as well, to create intimate seating (fabric can be chosen to ones taste).

Come and dream in me! calls out the sofa. Also from PINCH (photos from their website).

"Be ruthless with your possessions - you cannot afford to waste any space on redundant clutter. Take everything out of your home and only put back in the things you need or love. You will be surprised at how much space you save and how good you feel". Sir Terence Conran

Milla's birthday is upcoming soon and I am seriously considering getting this mould (be Lékué) to make her birthday lollipops (even if her chosen theme is less glamorous...Toy Story).

My girls rocking chair comes from the monthly brocante in Annecy, which takes place the last Saturday of the month. We painted it in cherry pink. But it really should have a pillow that goes with it. So, I will be looking for one or maybe, but only maybe, I will try to make one.
